Find Your Adventure in Moab, Utah
Moab makes for the perfect base when exploring the beautiful region of southern Utah. The main draw for the area is Arches National Park, which is only 6 miles from downtown Moab and 32 miles from Canyonlands National Park. Dead Horse Park, multiple popular trails, and other sites are close to Moab as well. There are plenty of activities to choose from such as hiking, off-road Jeep trips, mountain biking, river rafting, and skydiving.
The main downtown area in Moab is a nice place for a stroll with a number of galleries, coffee shops, bars, and restaurants to choose from. The Peace Tree Café makes for a nice spot for a pre-hike breakfast or an evening meal. Although a bit of a drive from downtown Moab, the Bangkok House had delicious curry that was worth the short trip. If you’d like to try some local brews, check out the Moab Brewery.
When visiting Arches National Park be sure to hike out to Delicate Arch to see the sunset. Notice the changing colors on the Arch at dusk, but keep in mind that it’s a popular spot for tourists so you most likely won’t be the only one. If you don’t have much time for a hike in Arches, the Windows are a great option to see the beauty of the park in a short walk. Enjoy the drive around Arches and prepare to be amazed.
