The main draw for the area is Arches National Park, which is only 6 miles from downtown Moab and 32 miles from Canyonlands National Park. Dead Horse Park, multiple popular trails, and other sites are close to Moab as well. There are plenty of activities to choose from such as hiking, off-road Jeep trips, mountain biking, river rafting, and skydiving.

Eugene makes for an excellent home base for getaways such as the beautiful Oregon coast and the mountains. Head west to the rugged Pacific coast, which makes for the perfect daytrip. If you prefer to ski or snowboard, head east to Willamette Pass to hit the slopes.
