The Danna Langkawi was designed with beauty in mind — every turn of a corner at this majestic hotel brings a new vista to your eyes.

The Danna is a luxurious old-world colonial hotel, expect that it is all new. Just three years old, its looks are historical, but it is immaculate and has all the modern amenities.

This hotel has 125 rooms (each with balcony). Because they are spread out onto five floors around a huge garden and koi pond, it feels larger. There’s also the Drawing Room – a traditional wine and cigar room, a games room, library, billiards room, meeting rooms, a spa, glass-walled fitness room, and a kids club to fill its grand spaces.

You will be tempted by the three dining venues, offering western, Indian and Asian dishes, as well as English afternoon tea. Menus change frequently so that guests staying for a week won’t get bored.

The three-tiered infinity pool — the biggest on the island of Langkawi — is central to the hotel, and there is an abundance of choice of places to lounge near, or even in it, whether you want sun, shade, or privacy.

The service is impeccable, warm and full of smiles.
